Shirley E. Daley has had dual careers in the educational and financial services sectors spanning 30 years. Her current role, as branch manager of the Trafalgar Branch, finds her working towards achieving annual recruitment and sales targets, as well as motivating, coaching and mentoring a team of 30.
She was named Branch Manager of the Year in 2015 and was awarded the 2015, 2016 and 2017 Company Conservation Trophy retaining 90 percent of the company’s business. Earlier in her career, she was a member of the life insurance industry’s prestigious Million Dollar Round Table (MDRT) for five consecutive years.
A Toastmaster since 1990, Daley is a member of her home club, Sagicor Life Jamaica Toastmasters Club, in Kingston. She has attained the Distinguished Toastmaster designation—the highest level of achievement in the organization.
An influential leader, and one who is culturally adaptive, Daley holds a master’s degree in Business Administration from the University of the West Indies, in Mona, Kingston, Jamaica.
